Remembering a conversation I had a long time ago.

   Where I couldn’t find anyone attractive (looks wise) but if I really liked their personality then I really found them attractive (still not looks wise, but in terms of personality)

   And so it always was really awkward when friends would talk about people they find attractive and try to get me to say something because it makes me feel extremely flustered because liking someone for looks, and for their personality was always different things. And I never liked people for looks, so… it was more of me admitting I liked them rather then just plain finding them good looking.

   I have some people I know who always try to get me to say things because I guess they like to see me get extremely flustered, or see me embarrassed or are just insensitive? So they always ask me “WHO DO YOU THINK IS HOT” or like… “Would you date him/her?” and I’m just like. But I don’t know them, and then they are like WELL, JUST WOULD YOU OR WOULDN’T YOU. IT’S NOT LIKE YOU HAVE TO MARRY THEM. And blah. I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT ANYMORE I FEEL WEIRD BECAUSE THEN THOSE QUESTIONS ALWAYS TURN REALLY SEXUAL BECAUSE I GUESS THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW I WORK AND I’M ALL JUST NOPE I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS.

I really don’t know why I even did this comic aha… Just couldn’t get it out of my head.

That seems rather insensitive of people, even if they’re doing it in order to see your reaction.

I was asked this as part of one of those cabin-bonding things a few years ago. My first thought was “oh shit what am I going to say” because that isn’t how I work.

I explained how I was attracted to personality when it was my turn, and, fortunately, none of the girls had anything negative to say. A couple of them agreed and said things like how they found intelligence or a good sense of humor to be attractive. So it worked out well for me.

I have to say though, I have absolutely no idea what kind of response I would get now.

As of lately it hasn’t happened, but I always respond the same way, not knowing how to respond and just saying I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS ANYMORE!!~ aha.
